Our version of the popular football shaped jig. Available in several weights, featuring a 5/0 Gamakatsu 2x jig hook, that has a slightly longer shank than our competitors, this allows for increased hookup ratio as well as more trailer options. We hand tie our Oblong Jig skirts with Kevlar thread. This not only ensures the strongest possible connection, but it keeps the strands right where we place them, say goodbye to rotating skirts, and slippage commonly found on wire tied jigs.
